Mount Cho Oyu (8,201m) is an ideal choice for mountaineers to taste the summit above eight thousand meters. Cho Oyu expedition is an easy mountain expedition in comparison with other peaks about 8000meters. Cho Oyu, the beautiful mountain is standing in the high above the Tibetan plains on the Nepal-Tibet border and it is the world's 6th highest mountain.

Mt. Cho Oyu is taken as the holy mountain for the locals. It was first climbed by S. Moechler, H. Tichy and P. Dawa Lama in 1954. On a clear sky day, you enjoy the breathtaking view from the summit plateau and also get an opportunity to take the entire panoramic view other high mountains like Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang, Ama Dablam and other peaks of the Khumbu Region.

Mount Cho Oyu Expedition is arguably the most technically straightforward, accessible and safe to climb. These days there are more than four different routes on Cho Oyu with the Tibetan north side offering several worthy first ascent possibilities.

You will enter Tibet via Zhangmu and then drive to Old Tingri, from where the trekking begins. Chinese Base Camp is situated at an altitude of 5000m with the advanced base camp at 5700m and about three miles away from the mountain proper. Base camp is established at the Rongbuk glacier at 5180m though the real climbing starts at camp 1 at an elevation of 7000m.

Day 08-10: Arrive at Advance Base Camp

Day 11-30: Climbing Period of Cho Oyu

Day 31:Trek from Advance Base Camp to Chinese Base Camp

Day 32:Drive to Nyalam Guesthouse
