Dolpo is lying in the rain shadow of the Himalayas so very few rains here. The landscape of Dolpo region is like a desert similar to Tibetan Plateau with very less vegetation. You can enjoy the age old lifestyle of people without any change from the past few centuries.  Dolpo treks stats from the elevation of 1650 meters up to 5136 meters above sea level.

Upper Dolpo Trekking is the most remote, hidden and isolated trekking destination in far western Nepal situated between the Tibetan plateau and Dhaulagiri Himalayan Range. Upper Dolpo Region comprise of tranquil and natural beauty like mysterious monasteries, beautiful mountain, blue lakes and unique landscape.

Lower Dolpo Trek

Duration: 15 Days Grade: Moderate to Strenuous and alpine

Lower Dolpo Trek is wilderness and adventurous trek in isolated area of western Nepal opened in 1982 for foreigners. Lower Dolpa is the remote destination of Nepal which has been listed as the restricted area thus requires special trekking permit to travel. Dolpa Region as known as the land of medicinal herbs is enrich with beautiful culture and geography.
