Trip Overview

Ganjala Pass Trek is challenging pass crossing adventure journey in Langtang region. The Ganja La Pass lies at the elevation of 5132m that separates Langtang valley and Helambu Valley as a natural wall. Ganja Pass trekking demands technical climbing knowledge with skill of rope fixing.

Ganja La Pass Trek is the super combination of cultural and sightseeing tour that offers the picturesque of beautiful Himalayan mountains and Buddhist culture and tradition like Buddhist monastery and people following Buddhism. Ganja La Pass starts from the Dhunche following Langtang River – Kyanjing Gompa – Ganja La Pass - Tarkeghyang and finally ends at Melamchi Bazzar. Kyanjing Gompa offers the cultural aspect of Langtang Region as well as the beautiful scenery of Mountains like Langtang, Yala Peak, Dorje Lakpa and many more.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu where you are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program and preparation for trek.

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu (1350m) to Syabru Besi (1462m) by Jeep / Mini bus, via Trisuli Bazaar - Dhunche.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2581m).

Day 04: Trek to Langtang Village (3307m).

Day 05: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3800m).

Day 06: Hiking around hidden valley.

Day 07: Trek to Ngegang.

Day 08: Ganja La Pass.

Day 09: Trek down to Dukpu.

Day 10: Trek to Tarkeghyang.

Day 11: Trek to Sermathang.

Day 12: Trek to Malamchipul Bazar, and drive back to Kathmandu.
