During the biking trip you will spend at least one night above 4000 meters and trekking to 5000 meters. So, this trip is challenging and adventurous one. Biking from Lhasa city to Kathmandu city of Nepal is approximately 1150 Kilometers long, you can imagine how adventurous and challenging this trip is. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape of Tibetan Plateau, culture and history of Tibetan peoples as well as Nepal. Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. In the evening welcome dinner and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: A free day in Kathmandu or you can join full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city. In the mean while complete the visa/documentation process for Tibet. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Gonggar airport and transfer to the Lhasa city. Hotel overnight.
Day 04: An acclimatization and sightseeing day in Lhasa. Visit the Potala palace and Jokhang Temple with other highlights of Lhasa city.
Day 05: First day bike ride out to the Sera Monastery is the perfect way to aid the acclimatization process. Return back to Lhasa, shopping and sightseeing.
Day 06:Lhasa - Khamba La biking, ride about 85 km (53 miles).
Day 07: Khamba La (4794m) to Najarse via Yamdrok Lake. Ride about 75 km (47 miles).
Day 08: Karo La (5050m) to beneath the Simi La. Bike ride about distance 68 km (43 miles) distance.
Day 09: Simi La to Gyantse. Bike ride distance about 50 km (31 miles).
Day 10: Gyantse to Shigatse biking about 95 km (59 miles). Distance.
Day 11: Rest day at Shigatse, which gives us time to explore the fantastic Tashilunpo Monastery.
Day 12: Shigatse to Tso besides the Ra Chu River. Bike ride distance about 106 km (66 miles).
Day 13: Tso to Tso La (4500m) for spectacular views of the main Himalaya Range and onwards to Lhatse and then a steady climb to a camp before the Gyamtso La. Bike ride distance 85 km (53 miles).
Day 14: Cross Gyamtso La (5220m) for first views of Everest and descend to Shegar and turn south to camp beyond Chay Village. Bike ride distance about 82 km (51 miles).
Day 15: Heading towards Everest, we make the tough ascent to the Pang La (5150m) where the views of the Himalaya, including Mount Everest, are simply outstanding and biking descent to Choesang. Bike ride distance 59 km (37 miles).
Day 16: We have a relatively steady morning's ride to the Rongbuk Monastery where we set up our highest camp of the holiday (5000m) with stunning views of Everest. Ride distance without the basecamp ride 24 km (15 miles).
Day 17: Biking from Everest Basecamp to Tsamda hot springs via the Lamma La along Friendship Highway. Bike ride distance about 90 km (56 miles).
Day 18: Tsamda to Lalung La biking with enjoy the views of Everest and Cho Oyu. Ride distance 55 km (34 miles).
Day 19: Cross Thang La (5132m) and enjoy the great views of Shisapangma and camp just beyond Nyalam. Ride distance 87 km (54 miles).
Day 20: Nyalam to the Borderlands Resort beside the Bhote Koshi River via Zhangmu. Ride distance 58 km (36 miles).
Day 21: Tatopani to Dhulikhel biking along the friendship highway. Today no more shortage of Oxygen. Ride distance 85 km.
Day 22: Bike from Dhulikhel to Kathmandu, free time for shopping and evening farewell dinner.
Day 23: Transfer to airport for final departure.
