TAAN organizes 35th AGM

Trek king Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is organizing its 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election for the new executive committee on the 20th of September, 2013 in Kathmandu. The decision was taken by the executive committee meeting of TAAN held on August 29. At the AGM, General Secretary of TAAN, Mr. Mohan Lamsal will present the Annual Progress Report of the association. Similarly, the Treasurer, Mr. Anjan Thapa will present Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year 2012/13 and estimated Financial Statement for the fiscal year 2013/14. TAAN recently amended its statute adding two new posts of a joint treasurer and an executive member of the executive committee. According to TAAN Statute, the AGM will elect a 17-member executive committee for the term of two years. The Immediate Past President and the President of TAAN Pokhara Chapter are ex-officio members on the executive committee. The 23-member executive committee will take a complete shape after the new committee nominates four executive members to the executive committee.
