It was really an exciting day because I was planning to visit the world's highest mountain area today by Helicopter. The trip was arranged by my friend with his client from Malaysia. I was very excited to ride a helicopter and to see the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest from my own eye just ahead. Riding Helicopter and seeing the Everest, both activities are totally new for me. I am feeling bit nervous to experience all those in a same time. It was a exciting Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour for me in my life.
Early morning in a winter season, we flew from Kathmandu by a chopper of Simrik air. The helicopter is handling by the two pilots and we 4 persons were behind the pilot seat. It took us about one hour to land at Namche Bazaar to the aside helipad of Tenzing Hillary Airport. It was an awesome journey over the hills, villages and dramatic views of High Himalayas towards the north. After filling some fuel at Namche, the helicopter took us to Everest view point at the elevation of 3828m at Syanboche hill. The pilot landed the helicopter and left me there and took the two clients towards the Everest Base Camp. Due to the heavy weight, I was not fit for this trip. So I climb the top of Syanboche to the right side of Everest view hotel and explore the entire area and computed some photos. I saw the Mt. Everest summit from here for the first time in my life. I am so excited to see the mountains; there are so many peaks with white snow capped. It was really like a dream to see the mountains too close in my eye level. After spending about 20 minutes by me, the chopper return back and landed again. The two clients take off and we went to the highest place five star hotels well known as Everest View Hotel. It's unbelievable creation at this elevation without using any means of transportation. We took our breakfast by seeing the Mt. Everest just in front. I have taken so many pictures and videos from here. Many trekkers were having breakfast, coffee or tea and taking pictures. After sending life's most memorable time at Everest view hotel, our team return back with Pilot and flew to Kathmandu. The helicopter changed the routes by following the Dudhkoshi River; it's dangerous to fly against the wind. So, pilot tried to escape the strong wind by following the hill side. I was feeling bit scary when the wind shakes the chopper. After the life's memorable helicopter journey, we landed at TIA. So my first journey of Everest ended with several new experiences.
