Helambu trek is one of the popular trekking nearby Kathmandu. For the short time trekkers, Helambu is the ideal choice without any weather problem full of Himalayan views and cultural experience. The Helambu trek starts from Sundarijal after an hour drive from center of Kathmandu and walking up hills to Chisapani. This trekking route passes through dense forest and villages full of amazing views.

Day 1: The drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1350m.)
Day 2: The trek from Chisopani to Kutumsang (2446m.)
Day 3: The trek from Kutumsang to Tharepati Pass (3650 m.)
Day 4: The trek from Tharepati to Tarkeghyang (2743m.)
Day 5: The trek from Tarkeghyang to Timbu and the drive from Timbu to Kathmandu takes about 5 hours.
The drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1350m.) takes about one hour and then walk uphill to Chisopani.
The trek from Chisopani to Kutumsang (2446m.) takes about seven hours.
The trek from Kutumsang to Tharepati Pass (3650 m.) takes about five and half hours.
The trek from Tharepati to Tarkeghyang (2743m.) via Melamchi Gaon (2640m) takes about five and half hours.
The trek from Tarkeghyang to Timbu takes two and half hours, and the drive from Timbu to Kathmandu takes about 5 hours.
