Nagarkot

Nagarkot hiking is situated about 15 kms from Kathmandu at an elevation of 1985m. Nagarkot can be reached within an hour drive from Kathmandu and offers the pleasant environment without any pollution. Nagarkot offers the amazing scenrery of beautiful mountains like Annapurna, Everestand many more. The beautiful spot of Nagarkot is mostly famous for beautiful mountain views at sunrise and sunset. We can see about 30 mountains above 6000m like Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung.

Kakani

Kakani is one of the most popular Mountain View at a height of 2073 meters (6801ft). An old retreat of the British envoys to Nepal since the mid 19th century, a delightful Raj style cottage at Kakni still belongs to successive British ambassadors to Nepal. Taragaon Resort is shared by the british ambassador's private residence and a police training academy. From the terrace of this run- down hotel, Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung dominant the centre stage with Annapurna II and Himal Chuli, Lenpogang ( great white peak) and Gauri Shankar in the left and right wings. Namo Buddha

Namo Buddha is a sacred site which offers stone slab on the top of the hill, stupas, huge prayer wheel on the hilltop, several Buddhist retreats and monasteries ringed with prayer flags and a line of nine white stupas. It is believed that Buddha gave his part of body to feed a starving tigress and her cubs. Namo Buddha Hiking starts from Dhulikhel and ends at panauti passing various a temple that was situated at Dhulikhel bazaar.
