Mt. Shishapangma Expedition (8046m) is the fourteenth highest mountain and the last mountain above 8000 meters for a mountain climbing. Mount Shishapangma lies in Tibet near the high peaks of Langtang in Nepalese border and opened for climbing to western mountaineers in 1978 by the Chinese authority.

Shishapangma is considered as one of the most straightforward mountain peaks climbing in Nepal. The North-west Ridge is quite easy and the success rate of summiting Shishapangma is high. Mount Shishapangma (8046m) was first climbed by H. Ching and Nine Climbers in 1664 and both were Chinese.

Shishapangma base camp is situated at 5000 meters and offers the spectacular views of the mountain and the ridge. Advanced Base Camp of this peak is located on the glacier on the west side of the moraines at 5400m. Shishapangma peak can be summitted after the three camps during ascending the peak. Ascending fairly steep snow slopes and rock ridge to the solid snow reaches to the summit which offers the enchanting view of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and more.

The Shishapangma Expedition route also offers us the great opportunity to interact with Himalayan lifestyles and learn about their traditions and culture. It is easy to climb Mount Shishapangma as compared to Everest Expedition and Manaslu but physical and mental fitness is must to accomplish the climb. A person with physical and mental fitness and minimum 7 hours per day walking ability can complete Shishapangma Expedition easily and happily.

For successful Shishapangma Expedition, you should be physically and mentally fit. A person with previous experience of non technical/technical peak climbing and trekking in high altitudes will complete this trip more easily and happily. We have experienced group members who will help you to accomplish your mission successfully.
