Where is Annapurna?

The word’s tenth highest mountain Mt. Annapurna with 8,091 m (26,545 ft) is located to the northwest of Pokhara valley in the western development region of Nepal.

Annapurna Himalayan range is a series of thirteen additional peaks over 7,000 m (22,970 ft) and 16 more over 6,000 m (19,690 ft). The beautiful mountain is situated in East of Great Gorge cut by the Kali Gandaki River.

Mount Annapurna is geographically located within the coordinate’s latitude 28° 35′ 46" North, longitude 83° 49′ 13″ East. Its elevation is about 8091 m (26,545 ft) above the sea level.

What is Annapurna Famous For?

The beautiful snow capped mountains are the major attraction of this area. Annapurna Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit trek are the world famous mountain trekking routes. Ghalegaun, Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Siklis, Tatopani, Ghandruk are the famous ethinc community settlement which are famous for culturally rich hospitality.
