You will have to cross the Friendship Bridge at the border of Nepal and Tibet, China in Kodari. Travel through the villages and town of Tibet in Lhatse, Shigatse, and Gyantse etc. On the way, stop and explore the Yamdrok Lake, Milareppa Cave and other monasteries before reaching the Lhasa city.

After early breakfast in Gyantse, the journey continues. You will be exploring the beautiful and turquoise Yamdrok Lake which one of the largest fresh water Lake in Tibet and cross Karo La Pass. Drepung Monastery is situated on the western part of Lhasa city. The Monastery was built on 1416, and has served as the spiritual and political center of Tibet. During the reign of 5th Dalai Lama, the Monastery was occupied by over 10,000 Monks.
Sera Monastery was founded in 1419 and is considered the most influential monastery in Tibetan history, as each Dalai Lama received his education and training from the ancient institution. The monastery is situated on the northern corner of Lhasa, and is characterized by its extensive collection of deity statutes and sprawling galleries.
