Tibet Cultural tour is the adventure overland tour that begins from the capital city of Nepal in Kathmandu. You will be travelling to another capital city of Tibet in Lhasa.

You will have to cross the Friendship Bridge at the border of Nepal and Tibet, China in Kodari. Travel through the villages and town of Tibet in Lhatse, Shigatse, and Gyantse etc. On the way, stop and explore the Yamdrok Lake, Milareppa Cave and other monasteries before reaching the Lhasa city.
In Lhasa, you will be visiting the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and many other sites during the Lhasa city tour.
The Tibet Cultural overland 10 days tour will be concluded in Lhasa after two days city tour. You can fly back to your home country or Kathmandu.

Visit some of the historical places in Kathmandu such as Pashupati Nath temple, Swoyambhu Nath Stupa etc.
Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Nepal-Tibet border (Kodari) by private vehicle. After finishing immigration formalities both Nepal & China side, you will continue up the steep, winding road to Nyalam. Hotel overnight at Nyalam.
After breakfast, the journey continues to Lhatse. On the way, short visit to Milareppa Cave and Lablung La Pass. Enjoy the view of Shisapangma peak from the Pass. Cross Lao Tingri, Xegar and Gyajo La Pass before reaching Lhatse. Hotel overnight at Lhatse.
After breakfast, continue the journey to Shigatse. Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet. You will visit the famous Tashilunpo Monastery and other places in Shigatse. Hotel overnight at Shigatse.
Early morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery and continue journey with short drive to Gyantse. Kumbum Stupa, Gyantse Dzong and Palkhor Chode Monastery are the cultural attractions of Gyantse. Hotel overnight in Gyantse.
After early breakfast in Gyantse, the journey continues. You will be exploring the beautiful and turquoise Yamdrok Lake which one of the largest fresh water Lake in Tibet and cross Karo La Pass. Before reaching the largest city Lhasa in Tibet, you will have to cross the Kamba La Pass and the Yarlung River. Hotel overnight in Lhasa.
Today is the first day of exciting Lhasa city sightseeing tour. Visit the famous Potala Palace which is the residence of Dalai Lama. Jokhang temple is another attraction of today’s tour. In the evening, enjoy the walk around the Barkhor Street market. Hotel overnight in Lhasa.
Today, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery are the tour attraction.
Drepung Monastery is situated on the western part of Lhasa city. The Monastery was built on 1416, and has served as the spiritual and political center of Tibet. During the reign of 5th Dalai Lama, the Monastery was occupied by over 10,000 Monks.
Sera Monastery was founded in 1419 and is considered the most influential monastery in Tibetan history, as each Dalai Lama received his education and training from the ancient institution. The monastery is situated on the northern corner of Lhasa, and is characterized by its extensive collection of deity statutes and sprawling galleries.

Today is the last day in Lhasa of Kathmandu Lhasa tour. You can fly to Kathmandu for any other Nepal tour package or direct fly back to your home country.

Perfect three day tour from Kathmandu
Hari put together a complete end-to-end tour package for us including airport pick-up and return and three full-day tours from Kathmandu. Our driver was amazing, improvising a few extra things each day and just being very enthusiastic. His car was in great condition and he was a very safe driver in the twisty mountain roads. This was the perfect way to see as much of Nepal as we could during our short visit. If I could give 6 stars I would!
