Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu, you are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program and preparation for trek.

Today we will visit Life Dream Adventures office in the afternoon. There we will meet guides who will check our equipments and make sure that we are redy to go for further trek. We will also have short briefing about the trip which will make us familiar on the days up in the mountain.

Today we will have 40 minutes scenic flight to Lukla in the early morning. Lukla is the starting point of every Everest trek. From Lukla we will start our short trek to Phakding. Descending for about an hour takes us to Cheplung village which offers us the glimpses of Mt. Khumbila which is a sacred mountain and has never been climbed. We further descend to Phakding village.

After having early morning breakfast we will ascend to Namche Bazaar. After crossing some bridges over Dudhkoshi and sever other rivers and doing some ups and downs we will reach the Monjo from where we will enter Sagarmatha National Park after checking all our permits. Further walk from Monjo takes us to Jorsale village and finally to Namche Bazaar.

Day 5 : Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day

Today we will rest in Namche Bazaar which will helps us to acclimatize in higher altitude. Experts believe that it is better to stay active even in the rest days so we will go for some small hikes near Namche Bazaar. We will go a short hike to Everest View Hotel and enjoy the incredible views of Mount Everest. There is a beautiful old monastery – Khumjung Monastery, near the valley where we will hike today. If time permits we will also make a short visit to Tourist Visitor Center at Sagarmatha National Park which will help us to learn more about Sherpa cultures and various plant and animal of Everest Region.

After having breakfast we will trek through ascending and descending trail leaving the Phunki Thanga behind. After the 5-6 hours of scenic walk we will reach Tengboche. The largest monastery of Everest Region lies here which is famous for Yeti’s Scalp. The monastery also offers the mesmerizing views of highest mountains including Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam.

After having breakfast we start our trek to Pherinche. Firstly, we descend for about an hour through a dense forest and cross a river. Then the trail starts to go uphill to the drier landscapes. After walking for sometimes we reach the beautiful village Pangboche, and finally to Pherinche. Pherinche is a beautiful village located on the river side which also has small helipad that is used for rescuing during emergency.

Today we start our trek with quite easy walk towards Dugla. From here, we trek uphill on the steep terminal moraine of Khumbu Glacier. Then we ascend to Chupki Lhara where we can observe an array of stones and prayer flags kept as memories of Scott Fischer (American Mountaineer) and Babu Chhiri Sherpa (Nepali Mountain Guide). From Lobuche we can have the incredible views of giant peaks like Khumbutse, Pumori, Mahalanngur etc.

We move along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier. We will enjoy the great views of Pumori, Mahalangur and other mountains through the trail. After small ascend we reach Thangma Riju which rewards us panoramic views of high Himalayas. We will reach Gorakshep after some walk where we will find ourselves surrounded by the giant White Mountains. From Gorakshep we will hike up to Everest Base Camp and spend some time there. Again we will trek back to Gorakshep.

To catch the mesmerizing view of Sunrise over the highest mountain in the world, we will start our trek very early in the morning. For the trek to Kalapaththar we have to be prepared for chilly winds and changing temperatures. After some ascents we will reach the Kalapaththar from where we can have a closure view of Mount Everest and other famous peaks. After having fun ion Kalapaththar we will trek back to Lobuche.

We will start our trek very early in the morning. Today we are trekking to the maximum elevation on the entire trek that is Kongma La Pass. Ascend to Kongma La pass is most difficult part of our trek today. We can see cairn wrapped prayer flags on the top of Kongma La used to mark the pass. Then we descend gradually to Imja valley and finally to Chhukung. Then we will check our equipments and get redy for our upcoming climb.

We will start our pre climbing training after having breakfast. Our experienced guides will give you training on Peak climbing Techniques, and teach the proper way to use climbing gears like ice axe, climbing boots, and crampons etc. The training also includes the use of rope for going up and down. Although prior training is not compulsory for island peak climbing, we believe that some training experience will boost up your confidence nad makes your climbing more exciting and best memory of lifetime.

We will start our climb very early in the morning i.e. around 12 to 1 am after having our breakfast. We have to summit the peak before noon because in the afternoon strong winds might become a barrier for our successful summit. We will climb the peak as guided by our experienced guides using the different equipments like ice axe, ropes etc. reach the top of island peak before noon. Then we will gradually descend to Base Camp.

Today we will have much easier walk as the trail mostly descends to Pangboche. Tracing back the footprints to Khumbu khola, we pass through the beautiful Sherpa settlements and reach Pangboche. Pangboche is a beautiful village surrounded by high mountains including Everest to its south. The village offers the panoramic views of giant Himalayas.

From Pangboche we follow back the same trail to Im ja Khola and trek up through the forest to Tengboche. Then we pass through the hillside covered with dense forest of Rhododendrons and juniper trees. After passing via forests and beautiful Sansa village, we reach Namche Bazaar.
